Malik Shaheed Wins YMCA PEACE AWARD 2007

I would like to thank everybody, who has supported me from the beginning. This is my second award this year, but by far this is biggest and most prestigious , because it is an internationally recognized award. I would like to dedicate this award to my grandmother and mother who showed me the importance of being open minded. I would like to thank the YMCA for recognizing my Peace contributions, and Mr Rock Boucicault for choosing me to be a nominee. Thank you to Johanne Menard, Pierre Marchand for letting me use TV as a tool to promote my causes, Louise Mascola from Canadian Heritage for supporting my events, My neighborhood Little Burgundy for making me mentally tough, Rickey D for his guidance and group Imperial and Ecko for their support. If we are going to grow as a human race we have to start working for a common goal, peace, unity and equality. Thank you also to all my fans, and anybody I forgot, one love
